Responsibilities

  • Patient Care Rockstar: Greet and assist patients with a smile, making them feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they step through the door.
  • Vital Signs Virtuoso: Accurately measure and record vital signs, ensuring our patients are in tip-top shape.
  • Clinical Support Superhero: Assist our physicians variety of clinical tasks, including administering injections, drawing blood, and preparing patients for exams.
  • Master Organizer: Keep our medical office running like a well-oiled machine by managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling phone calls with ease.
  • Educator Extraordinaire: Provide patients with important information about their treatments, medications, and follow-up care in a way that’s easy to understand.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with our amazing team to ensure every patient receives top-notch care and service.

Skills & Qualifications

  • People Person: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must – you love interacting with patients and colleagues alike.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer tasks.

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus, but we’re also excited to train the right enthusiastic candidate!

Responsibilities

Clinical Technician job responsibilities include:

  • Prepare patients to be seen by the Optometrist
  • Complete diagnostic testing 
  • Gather medical history and reason for the visit
  • Assist the Optometrist as needed during examinations
  • Show patients how to properly care for contact lenses/ trainings 
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Checking patients in and out as needed
  • Collecting payments
  • Explaining insurance benefits to patients
  • Sterilizing instruments and exam rooms
  • Ensure smooth flow throughout the clinic
  • Perform special testing 

Skills & Qualifications

Clinical Technician required skills & qualifications include:

  • Experience in a professional setting 
  • The ability to connect and communicate well with patients
  • Skilled communicator – written and verbal
  • Works well with a team
  • Able to multi-task in fast paced environment 
  • Tech-savvy; typing capabilities
