This role works closely with doctors and leadership to ensure smooth operations, staff support, scheduling success, and clinic performance.

Management experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate into a leadership role if you have prior optometry experience and a strong desire to grow.

Required Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations across all departments (front desk, clinical, and optical)
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members
  • Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity, and profitability
  • Attend monthly manager meetings to align with leadership on goals, strategy, and initiatives
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency
  • Ensure excellent patient experience and service standards are consistently met
  • Handle employee relations, performance management, and accountability
  • Collaborate with doctors and regional manager on strategic planning and practice growth
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
  • Oversee inventory, billing processes, and operational systems
  • Oversee accounts payable, including invoice management and timely payments
  • Perform reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and financial accountability

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous management experience in healthcare or optometry preferred
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Experience with accounts payable and basic financial reconciliation
  • Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with scheduling, payroll, and performance management
