Responsibilities

As a part of the Optometric Technician team, you will work with patients one-on-one to complete the diagnostic testing for their appointments.  

Key responsibilities include:  

  • Prepare patients to be seen by the Optometrist
  • Gather patient medical history
  • Complete diagnostic testing and necessary documentation
  • Assist the Optometrist as needed during examinations
  • Show patients how to properly insert, remove, and care for contact lenses
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

No prior experience is necessary. On-the-job training and continuing education will be provided.

As a part of the Optical team, you will work with our patients one-on-one by assisting them with eyewear selection, education, ordering, adjusting, and repair. If you have sales, customer service, or optical experience and you have some fashion sense, we want to hear from you!

  • Prior customer service or sales experience
  • Fashion savvy and enjoy helping people in a customer setting
  • Comfortable with sales and making transactions

  • Familiar with MS Office Suite programs
  • Experience in the Optical field a plus
