Vision Source Rio, a locally owned and operated Optometry practice in Rio Rancho, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing practice.
In this entry-level role, you will be an important part of a high-achieving team of front desk professionals supporting patients by scheduling appointments, checking insurance, taking payments, and more — all within a professional and upbeat environment.

Starting pay: $16 per hour. This is a Full-Time role.
Office hours Monday – Friday. Weekends off!
Responsibilities
As a part of the Patient Care Coordinator team, you will work with our patients in-person, over the phone, and via email/text to assist with their administrative needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greet patients, check patients in and out
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments; ensure smooth flow
- Verify insurance information for each patient
- Answer and forward all calls; oversee voicemail and messages
- Scan and email important documents out of the office in a timely manner
- Collect and process payments
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
No prior experience is necessary. On-the-job training and continuing education will be provided.

- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Prior customer service experience a plus
