The office manager is responsible for managing all administrative and operational functions related to two Optometric Practices located in Worcester and Spencer. This includes ensuring a smooth and efficient systems, inventory control, human resources management, patient relations and patient flow.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the practice including staff scheduling, patient scheduling, operational checks and balances
- Oversees office policies and procedures
- Facilitates the development and implementation of goals, metrics and objectives
- Develop and implement new office systems to improve office operations to ensure the consistent delivery of customer service
- Manages Human Resources including interviewing, hiring, firing , on boarding, training, and conflict resolution.
- Leading and motivating staff to perform their duties
- Works with doctors on operational budget and expenditures and stays within budget
- Oversee staff tasks and projects to implementation
- Sets standards and accountability
- Office compliance with regulations
- Ensure office is providing excellent patient care
- Runs regular staff meetings and team building events
- Office maintenance and computer systems
