Responsibilities
Front Desk Support:
Greet and assist patients with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, including collecting necessary information and verifying insurance details.
Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries with accuracy and timeliness.
Assist with payment processing and handle billing inquiries in coordination with the front desk team.
Maintain a clean and organized front office environment to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
Optical Support:
Assist patients in selecting eyewear that best suits their needs, style, and budget.
Provide education on lenses, frames, and eyewear options, guiding patients to make informed decisions.
Assist in fitting, measuring, and adjusting eyewear to ensure a proper and comfortable fit.
Help manage inventory by stocking optical products, frames, cleaning materials, and contact lenses.
Support the opticians and doctors in preparing patients for eye exams and follow-up care.
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of customer service or retail experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping others.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn about optical products and services, with the ability to provide education to patients.
Comfortable with basic computer systems and appointment scheduling software.
Ability to manage time and priorities effectively, ensuring both front desk and optical tasks are completed efficiently.
