Responsibilities
- What you’ll do
- Lead and manage staff
- Oversee HR functions and scheduling
- Supervise front desk operations and patient flow
- Effectively manage staff schedules to optimize resource allocation
- Coordinate optical, marketing, IT, pretesting, and billing functions
- Implement new systems and office procedures
- Be responsible for meeting office performance goals
- Assist with property management duties
- Foster collaboration and cultivate a conducive work environment for enhanced teamwork
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain compliance
- Plan and facilitate productive staff meetings
- Develop and maintain comprehensive budget analysis reports
- Review inventory turnover rates to optimize efficiency
- Address technology-related concerns and provide necessary tools and resources for employee success
- Establish clear goals and effectively monitor progress towards their completion
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a medical office and staff management (eye care preferred)
- Strong organizational skills
- Multitasking abilities
- Tech-savvy
- Wear contact lenses or have experience with contact lens training
- Familiarity with medical billing
- Optician experience
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
- Comfortable with social media platforms
- Proficiency in conflict management, particularly in relation to patient care and maintaining positive employee/employer relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills for motivating and fostering an effective team environment, while upholding high standards of professionalism
