Responsibilities

Carry out the therapy program for given patients 

  • Provide appropriate documentation for the doctor to monitor progress 
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for therapy to take place 
  • Communicate with patients and their families both in-person and by email/phone 
  • Lead outreach by contacting groups, organizations, and professionals to generate referrals for optometric vision therapy 
  • Create invoices for patient payment 
  • Assist other members of the team when needed and available 
  • All other duties assigned by management 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in vision therapy, occupational therapy, teaching, or other medical rehabilitation fields is not required, but would be valuable 
  • Must enjoy working with children; experience/knowledge with ADHD/Autism is helpful 
  • Must have compassion for those suffering from anxiety/depression 
  • Ability and eagerness to learn 
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • A positive and engaging personality 
  • AA or BA/BS desired

Responsibilities

As the Front Desk Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact, setting the tone for an exceptional optical journey. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Warm Welcomes: Greet and assist patients with a beaming smile, making every visit memorable from the moment they step in.
