The receptionist orchestrates the flow of the practice by ensuring patients present in a timely manner and in return are seen in a timely manner. Generally the receptionist is the 1st touchpoint to the practice setting the tone for what the patient can expect upon their visit. This position requires a person who is calm and has strong communication skills. As well as, an ability to educate and convey a clear, concise reason for a patient to choose to visit the practice in which they've called. The receptionist is the filter to all departments of the practice. Consistently delivering exceptional impressions is a must for this position.
