Lab Technician



A lab technician is relied upon to accurately process eyewear orders to lens labs, track ETA's and breakages, and deliver eyewear as ordered to the client within the time frame promised. This can be a stressful position as on occasion unforeseen quality failures arise. This falls upon the technician to notify clients of delays in their order without adversely affecting their overall satisfaction. This position has its rewards as well. The technician generally has the privilege of delivering to clients newly completed eyewear that he/she has been anxiously anticipating. This encounter typically is the final touchpoint in the patient experience cycle. Precision and expertise is essential.
