Responsibilities
Serve as the primary front desk contact, setting the tone for a professional and welcoming patient experience
Manage patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and phone inquiries with accuracy and efficiency
Oversee and support front desk workflows to ensure smooth daily operations
Handle administrative tasks including documentation, insurance verification, and billing support
Utilize knowledge of medical and/or optical billing and coding to ensure accuracy and compliance
Act as a lead resource within the front office, supporting consistency, organization, and best practices
Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient journey
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
Prior experience in a medical or optical office required
Experience with billing and coding; optical billing experience preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Responsibilities
Greet all office guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Gather preliminary data through patient pretest, such as documenting chief complaints, gathering patient’s medical history, measuring visual acuity, eye movement, interocular pressure (IOP), retinal photos, visual fields, and optical coherence tomography (OCT).
Educate the patient throughout the prescreening process about what each machine is testing for and provide instructions to provide accurate test results.
Accurately and efficiently document the results of pretesting into the current EHR program.
Educate and instruct the patient on insertion, removal, and proper care of contact lenses.
Assist the Optometrist as needed during examinations.
Assist the patient in making decisions about frames and lenses.
Assist other members of the team when needed and available.
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years prior optometric technician experience preferred
Adaptable and flexible with the ability to multitask

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and assisting patients’ needs.
Style patients to meet their fashion and lifestyle needs.
Maximize sales offerings and educate patients on lens options using extensive knowledge of product lines and options.
Use proper tools to take accurate measurements and fit/adjust eyewear for patient needs.
Promise accurate delivery & turnaround times meeting the patients’ needs. Immediately notify the patient of any delays in delivery times.
Help maintain the attractive appearance of the office; dust, clean frames and frame boards, maintain frame inventory, maintain and upkeep dispensary and optical workspaces.
Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Training Provided; optical experience preferred but not required.
Fashion savvy and enjoy helping people in a customer setting.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills
Comfortable with sales and making transactions.
Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
