Skills & Qualifications

  • Retail and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Front Desk Support:

  • Greet and assist patients with a warm and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, including collecting necessary information and verifying insurance details.
  • Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with payment processing and handle billing inquiries in coordination with the front desk team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office environment to promote a welcoming atmosphere.

Optical Support:

  • Assist patients in selecting eyewear that best suits their needs, style, and budget.
  • Provide education on lenses, frames, and eyewear options, guiding patients to make informed decisions.
  • Assist in fitting, measuring, and adjusting eyewear to ensure a proper and comfortable fit.
  • Help manage inventory by stocking optical products, frames, cleaning materials, and contact lenses.
  • Support the opticians and doctors in preparing patients for eye exams and follow-up care.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service or retail experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for helping others.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn about optical products and services, with the ability to provide education to patients.
  • Comfortable with basic computer systems and appointment scheduling software.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities effectively, ensuring both front desk and optical tasks are completed efficiently.
