Schedule: Monday: 8:30am-5:30pm, Tuesday: 9:30am-7pm, Wednesday:8:30am-5:30pm, Thursday: 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday: 8am-3:30pm
Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership and support to clinical and administrative staff.
- Execute payroll processing accurately and efficiently
- Training the team on new processes and procedures
- Reconciling monthly statements, accounts payable
- Making hiring decisions, finding people with the right skills, values and abilities that fit well within our company culture
- Team reviews and improvement plans
- Oversee scheduling, patient flow, and office efficiency.
- Step in to assist with both clinical and optical duties when needed.
- Monitor practice performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and company policies.
- Assist in recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Collaborate with doctors and regional manager to achieve practice goals and deliver excellent patient care.
- Handle patient concerns and ensure a high level of service.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and practice documentation.
Skills & Qualifications
- If no prior optometry experience: management or leadership experience required (healthcare setting preferred).
- If you have strong optometry or optical experience: We are willing to provide training into a management role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of medical billing, insurance, and compliance requirements preferred.
- Proficiency with office software
- Ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and assist with both clinical and optical functions.
