Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management: Manage a team of 5-10 employees in the optical department, ensuring smooth operations.
  2. Collaboration: Work with the office manager and leadership to implement strategies and new ideas for department improvement.
  3. Customer Service: Ensure timely and effective patient service, including managing their glasses orders, adjustments, and ensuring their glasses are ready for pick-up.
  4. Sales and Promotion: Stay informed about current sales and promotions, and actively participate in achieving sales goals.
  5. Optical Knowledge: Assist patients in selecting the best frames, ensuring the right fit and comfort.
  6. Organization: Keep the optical area clean, organized, and clutter-free. Track and follow up with patient orders.
  7. Training & Support: Assist in training and supporting fellow opticians, and take on various tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Optical experience is necessary.
  • ABO certification is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and provide leadership.
  • Strong focus on customer service and patient satisfaction.
