Primary Eye Care of Arlington is seeking a Tennessee-licensed Optometrist to join our growing, patient-centered practice in Arlington, TN.

Our team is dedicated to providing innovative eye health and vision care for patients of all ages through comprehensive eye exams, advanced treatment options, and personalized care.

This opportunity will initially provide patient care on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the potential to expand into a four- to five-day-per-week schedule as demand continues to grow, including Friday and Saturdays and up to 20 hours per week.

The ideal candidate is passionate about building long-term relationships with patients, educating them on their eye health, and delivering exceptional clinical care. We are looking for a doctor who enjoys practicing medical optometry, embraces recommendations that improve patient outcomes, and is committed to helping patients see and feel their best. Whether you have experience with specialty treatments and products or are eager to learn, we provide the support and training needed for success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive eye examinations and vision care services.
  • Diagnose and manage ocular conditions and vision-related concerns.
  • Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventative care.
  • Build strong rapport with patients and deliver an exceptional patient experience.
  • Recommend and prescribe appropriate treatments, products, and specific brands from the examination chair.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Stay current with industry advancements, clinical best practices, and treatment options.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Active Tennessee Optometrist license in good standing.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with patients.
  • Willingness to recommend and prescribe practice-specific brands and treatment options.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Prior experience is preferred; training will be provided as needed for specific products, brands, and treatment protocols.
