We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Optometric Technician who enjoys working with people, staying active throughout the day, and learning new skills in a modern healthcare environment. Responsibilities
Optometric Technician job responsibilities include:
- Perform diagnostic testing and accurately document patient information
- Prepare patients for their exam and assist the Optometrist during visits as needed
- Educate patients on contact lens care, treatments, and vision solutions
- Support patients in selecting frames and lenses that meet their lifestyle needs
- Maintain efficient patient flow while contributing to a positive clinic environment
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure excellent patient care and experience
Skills & Qualifications
Optometric Technician required skills & qualifications include:
- Friendly, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to connect with patients and help them feel comfortable and confident
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and grow
- Comfortable using technology and typing/documenting throughout the day
- Ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
Experience in eye care, medical assisting, or customer service is preferred — but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
