Hours: Monday 8:30am-5:30pm, Tuesday (rotates) 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:30am-7pm, Wednesday 8:30am-5:30pm, Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, and Friday 8am-3:30pm
Responsibilities
Optician job responsibilities include:
- Assist and educate patients in making frame and lens selections
- Coordinate order pickups and dispenses
- Placing glasses orders
- Work with patients to customize their eyewear
- Make small adjustments to frames
- Understanding and explaining vision insurance
Skills & Qualifications
Optician required skills & qualifications include:
- Prior customer service or sales experience
- Comfortable with sales and making transactions
- Works well in a team environment
- Reliable
- Comfortable with computer software
- Experience in the Optical field a plus
- High School Diploma required
