Eyecare Associates of Kuna is seeking a full-time Optician. The ideal person must be able to work with our large base of customers by delivering quality optical care and outstanding, friendly customer service. You must be able to assist patients with eyeglasses fittings, eyewear testing and other optical dispensing. You must also possess strong sales skills by demonstrating a high level of knowledge about our products and determining our patients’ needs for eyewear so you can recommend specific accessories or enhancements for glasses.
Responsibilities
- Excellent sales and communication skills to assist patients with selecting the proper ophthalmic frame and lens selection to maximize their visual performance and to consistently meet departmental goals
- Work with patients in adjusting and repairing eyeglasses
- Submitting glasses orders in a timely manner and following up with orders
- Excellent customer service skills to include the handling of unsatisfied or disgruntled patients
- Scheduling appointments

Qualifications:
- Proven customer service skills
- Strong sales ability
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer literate
- High School diploma or equivalent
