- Strong communication skills with a polished, professional presence
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy (especially with insurance & data entry)
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Ability to problem-solve and “own the patient experience”
- Previous medical or optical office experience preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities
As the face of our practice, you will:
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming experience
- Answer phones using professional scripting and tone
- Schedule appointments and manage provider schedules efficiently
- Collect and verify patient demographics and insurance (medical & vision)
- Perform insurance eligibility checks and communicate coverage clearly
- Accurately create and manage feeslips in OfficeMate
- Handle patient check-in/check-out and collect payments
- Maintain smooth patient flow and communicate with clinical staff
- Support end-of-day processes, including reconciliation and documentation
- Cross-training in all departments
Skills & Qualifications
