Responsibilities
- Assist patients with frame selection, lens options, and fittings.
- Interpret and verify prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and understanding.
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
- Comfortably guide patients through the sales process, offering personalized recommendations and solutions.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage inventory, including frames and lenses, and handle ordering as needed.
- Provide adjustments, repairs, and modifications to eyewear.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Certified Optician (or in the process of certification) preferred.
- Experience in frame styling, lens selection, and optical dispensing.
- Comfort in a sales position with a focus on personalized patient service and eyewear recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-oriented attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to manage inventory systems.
- Lab experience is a plus but not required.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
