Responsibilities
Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
Process insurance claims accurately and efficiently
Communicate with patients regarding insurance inquiries and billing matters
File claims for patient products and services
Ensure accurate patient information for billing
Perform billing audits and manage patient statements
Oversee collections/delinquent accounts
Assist in educating patients on their coverage
Skills & Qualifications
Insurance Specialist experience (in an optical setting a plus)
Medical coding/billing/collections experience

Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming, friendly environment.
Answer phone calls and manage appointment scheduling efficiently.
