Community Eyecare Clinic of Eyecare Associates is seeking a full-time bilingual (Spanish/English) Patient Care Coordinator to join our Community Eyecare Clinic. This is a dynamic, hands-on position that combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support and optical assistance.
Previous optometry or medical office experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate who is motivated, compassionate, and eager to learn.

- Starting Pay: $18.00/hour (DOE)
Required Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service
- Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits
- Verify Medicaid insurance eligibility
- Prepare patient charts prior to appointments
- Assist doctors with patient workups and clinical testing
- Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
- Maintain referrals and patient recall systems
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear
- Enter eyeglass orders accurately
- Dispense, adjust, and repair eyewear
- Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Cross-train and assist in multiple departments as needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (Required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a medical office, optometry, or customer service environment is preferred
- Comfortable learning new technology and computer systems
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both English and Spanish)
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Professional appearance and friendly personality
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
