As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience. Whether welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, or helping keep the office running smoothly, you’ll be an important part of a team dedicated to outstanding patient care.
No prior eye care experience is required—we are happy to train the right candidate. We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a desire to build a long-term career within our practice. This position is not intended for summer-only or temporary employment.

- Pay starts at $16.00 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities for advancement based on performance, training, and additional responsibilities.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm
Responsibilities
Front Desk Receptionist job responsibilities include:
- Welcome patients and create a positive first impression
- Check patients in and out for appointments
- Schedule appointments
- Collect copays and process payments
- Verify patient information and insurance benefits
- Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic system
- Communicate with doctors and staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Assist with general administrative tasks including scanning
- Address patient questions and concerns professionally
- Help maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
No prior eye care experience is required. We will train the right candidate.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer service, reception, administrative support, or a medical office setting
- Experience scheduling appointments or working with insurance benefits
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Optometry or ophthalmology experience
