Responsibilities

Household Management: Handle grocery shopping, meal planning/prep, and general errands. Manage comprehensive duties around the home such as scheduling and supervising home maintenance, overseeing repairs, and liaising with contractors.
 
Pet Care: Manage all aspects of care for family pets (one dog), including scheduling vet appointments, grooming, and daily care needs.
 
Child Care: Assist with childcare, including occasional school pickups, driving to activities, helping with homework, and engaging with our children in a nurturing manner.
 
Event Planning: Take charge of planning and coordinating family and/or business events, handling everything from invitations and decor to catering arrangements.
 
Laundry Management: Oversee laundry operations, dry cleaning or repairs as needed.  Mostly this relates to our children’s school uniforms.
 
Administrative Support: Provide support in our optometry office, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and assisting with office projects.
 

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in household management and/or administrative roles; previous nanny or event planning experience a plus.
 
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
 
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with learning new technologies. We use many different forms of technology.
 
High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
 
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
 
Extreme Flexibility to meet changing family and business needs.

All prospective new hires must undergo both a background check and a review of their driving record.

 
Schedule:
Full-time position; flexibility required for occasional evenings or special events.
 
Location:
Primary location in Woodinville and Kirkland, WA with occasional errands and events in surrounding areas.

Start Date: Immediate
