Clear Vision Eye Care is a progressive customer-centered optometry practice and eyewear boutique seeking a full-time career-oriented optician to add to our exceptional team. We are losing one of our outstanding team members due to a move to Texas. The right candidate is dedicated, self-motivated with excellent customer service and teamwork skills. An eye for fashion is a definite plus. Duties will include assisting patients in frame selection, educating patient on lens technologies, adjusting frames, filing insurance, submitting lab orders and general office responsibilities. Experience in the optical industry is preferred, but willing to train someone who is a perfect fit. Optician Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the merchandising of frames, spectacle lenses, and eyewear accessories
  • Ensure that the practice’s optical quality standards are met
  • Manage all aspects of eyewear orders and patient pickup
  • Work with patient in adaptation of their lenses
  • Adjustment and minor eyeglass repair

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven customer service skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance patient relationships
  • Strong sales ability 
  • Have an eye for fashion 
  • High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Computer literate



  • High School diploma
  • Prior experience as an Optician or in the optical industry
  • A general understanding of Optician and Optical Sales best practices
