Full Time Front Desk Receptionist position available in a busy Optometric Practice. In this position you are the first person our patients see when they arrive to our office. You get the incredible honor of setting the stage for each patient’s appointment.
Responsibilities:
● Making sure the patient feels welcome as soon as they walk in the door
● Pleasantly answering questions and making appointments for existing and potential new patients
● Using your friendliest phone voice to answer incoming calls
● Assist in opening and closing the office
● Checking in / out patients for their appointments
● Collecting copays / patient balances
● Scheduling follow up appointments and referrals
● Verifying Insurance
● Updating patient demographic information
● Balancing and end of day reports
● Plus all the other common day to day tasks required to keep a front desk running smoothly.
